The words you'll see in Shopvibe, and what each one means in the app.
- Fake account
- A customer account created by a bot rather than a shopper. Fake accounts usually have no orders, and they receive abandoned-cart and newsletter emails meant for real customers.
- Same-name burst
- Many new accounts that share one name, such as a run of accounts all called “James Anderson”. Shopvibe groups them into one cleanup batch.
- Sign-up burst
- A large number of accounts created within a few minutes of each other, which is more than real shoppers usually produce.
- Throwaway email
- An address on a disposable email domain, or one that looks randomly generated. Shopvibe treats it as one signal among several, never as proof on its own.
- Card testing
- Placing small orders to check whether stolen card numbers work. Card testing leaves failed payments, voided orders and chargeback risk behind.
- Cleanup batch
- A group of flagged accounts or orders that share a pattern. Nothing in a batch changes in Shopify until you approve it.
shopvibe-bottag- The customer tag Shopvibe adds to accounts it cleans up, so they are easy to find and filter in Shopify. Undo removes it.
- Not a bot
- A mark you put on a flagged account. The account is left out of the cleanup and out of future checks.

What is Shopvibe?
Shopvibe is a Shopify app that cleans up the fake customer accounts, spam sign-ups and card-testing orders bots leave behind. It is listed on the Shopify App Store as “Spam Bot Cleanup ‑ Shopvibe” and published by Decision Trees Inc in Vancouver, BC.
Does Shopvibe block bots?
No. Shopvibe cleans up what got through: fake accounts already in your store and card-testing orders. Use it next to a bot blocker if you have one.
How does Shopvibe find fake accounts?
It checks new accounts that have no orders for bot patterns: many accounts with the same name, links typed into name fields, sign-up bursts, throwaway or random-looking email addresses, and first and last names that match. The first scan covers 90 days of sign-ups; after that it scans daily and minutes after each new sign-up.
Will Shopvibe touch real customers?
Not without your approval. Customers who have placed an order are skipped, every account is re-checked just before cleanup, and you can mark any account as not a bot.
What does a cleanup change in Shopify?
It adds the shopvibe-bot tag and unsubscribes the account from email and SMS marketing, so Shopify's abandoned-cart and marketing emails skip it. Undo puts both back. Deleting the accounts is a separate approval offered a week later, on the Launch plan.
How are card-testing orders handled?
On the Launch plan, Shopvibe watches recent open orders for Shopify's card-testing flag, repeated failed payments, card security code and billing address mismatches, high risk ratings, and orders from the same IP address. When you approve a batch, each order is marked high risk, tagged shopvibe-card-test, and cancelled as fraud with a refund and restock. Customers aren't emailed, and fulfilled orders are never touched.
Does Shopvibe work with Klaviyo?
Not directly yet. Shopvibe unsubscribes bot accounts in Shopify, and Klaviyo's Shopify integration can sync those unsubscribes. Native Klaviyo suppression is planned.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes fake account scans 90 days back, daily scans and scans after new sign-ups, the reasons behind every flag, tagging and unsubscribing bot accounts, undo, and 10 cleanup batches a month, with no time limit. Launch is $29 per month or $300 per year, with a 14-day free trial.
What data does Shopvibe keep?
For each flagged account or order: the name, a masked email such as j•••@example.com, the reasons it was flagged, and the tags and marketing consent it had before cleanup, so the cleanup can be undone. Full email addresses, phone numbers and addresses are never copied. Decided records are removed after 180 days and the cleanup log after a year, and uninstalling removes everything Shopvibe stored for your store. The privacy policy has the details.

Shopvibe runs inside Shopify Admin. The app is in English, is published by Decision Trees Inc in Vancouver, BC, and has been on the Shopify App Store since May 25, 2026. All charges are billed in USD every 30 days.
